Chapter #4The Dark Suggestion is responsible! by: Xias   “Wait! I’m coming with you!” Tanya exclaimed, just after she grabbed onto her friend's arm.
Kat nodded silently as Tanya stood up behind her. She wasn’t surprised at all at her decision. The dreams and fantasies of turning back into a giant had been driving young Katherine positively mad for the last week, and based on what Tanya had said it sounded like she was going through almost the exact same thing. Kat wasn’t stupid- she knew on some level that Rita & Zedd must have been behind both of them having the same strange fantasies. But as she was now, she just didn’t care. She would give anything to have that power back, to be massive once again. That was all that mattered to her now, and indeed to Tanya too.
“Let’s get going then.” Kat finally said after a long pause. Tanya gave a slow and very conflicted nod.

Meanwhile, up on the Moon, Zedd and Rita watched this all unfold from outside their RV with the kind of purely evil glee you could only get from watching a plan unfold exactly as you intended.
“Hahaha! This is all going perfectly!” exclaimed Lord Zedd.
“You really outdid yourself this time Finster!” Rita laughed as he came out of the RV to join them. “Your Dark Suggestion has them practically begging to be giants again!”
“Yes, well, the two girls really DID love being giants.” Finster confirmed. “That’s what makes the Dark Suggestion so effective. It grabs onto something that’s deep in your subconscious- the kind of dark desire you’d normally be able to keep under control- and makes it positively unbearable! It haunts them in their dreams, even their daydreams, until it’s all they can think about. Now this desire for power is a real desire the two of them have- it isn’t just some simple mind control spell that the other Rangers can break. It’s become their real personalities.”
“We get it, dog breath!” said an annoyed Rita, her short attention span causing her to become exasperated with one of his exposition dumps as usual. “The Rangers are gonna be stuck with two power mad giants forever! Hahaha!”
“Indeed, what a great plan!” Zedd exclaimed. “I’m glad I thought of it!”
“Hey! This was my idea!” Rita yelled.
“Actually, I think it was my-“ Finster tried to clarify, but is quickly interrupted.
“No sis, I think it was Ed’s idea!” Rito said as he too came out of the RV.
“ZEDD! ZEDD, you moron! I’m going to have my new giant Power Rangers crush your bones into dust!” Zedd raged.
“Who cares about Rito, let’s get to it Zeddy!” Rita yelled impatiently, as Goldar also came out of the RV to watch. “Look, they’re standing down there just like we told them to! I don’t want to leave our new teenage friends waiting!”
“You’re right, it’s time for the next phase of our plan.” Zedd agreed.
“Magic wands, make our Rangers grow!” Rita yelled as she and Zedd cross their wand and scepter together. The blue growth lightning was sent down to Earth once again….

Back on Earth, Kat and Tanya had been standing awkwardly outside the Youth Center for a few minutes, wondering what exactly was going on (and of course having no idea the delay was caused by yet another silly fight among the evil space aliens!).
“Maybe this whole thing was just a big joke.” said Tanya finally, interrupting the awkward silence. “‘Let’s tell the girl Rangers we’ll make them into giants again, haha. Wouldn’t that be a fun trick to play, my evil wife?’” Tanya said jokingly while trying to sound like Lord Zedd.
