Chapter #7
Persistance pays off

As a shower of sparks and smoke began to fill the cockpit, the rangers were hanging tough, trying to protect the Megazord in any way they can. But things were looking bleak as the gigantic Kimberly continued to exert great preasure on the downed zord.
"You can't hold for much longer, rangers! Why don't you escape so that you can live for just a little longer?" Kimberly said.
"Jason, we don't know how much longer this thing will hold together!" Billy shouted.
"We gotta hang in. Kimberly's life depends on it!" Jason said. Just then, an explosion ensued behind Kimberly as she felt something strike her. She ended up falling back, crushing a few buildings underneath her weight. She got up and looked to see the Dragonzord out in the distance.
"Alright, Tommy!" the rangers shouted in unison.
"Hey guys! I heard you were having some big problems with Kimberly, but this is serious stuff!" Tommy said.
"Tell us about it. But did you really just shoot Kimberly with your missiles?" Zack said.
"Don't worry, guys. It wasn't a direct hit. Just enough to throw her off balance." Tommy said.
Kimberly soon got back up, towering over both zords once more.
"So... my one and only Tommy decides to put up a fight now. Oh, I'm sooooo excited." Kimberly said in a sarcastic manner. Tommy looked over to the downed Megazord.
"You guys get back to the command center. I'll try to hold off Kimberly for as long as I can." Tommy said.
"Right. And Tommy... be careful. Both yourself and Kim." Jason said.
"I will." Tommy said. Soon, the other rangers disappeared from sight, as did the Megazord as it teleported back to wherever it was that it was stored. It was now the giant Kimberly and the Dragonzord standing tall in the city.
"Ha! I may not have been able to get rid of the other rangers, but I'll be just as satisfied when I've defeated you!" Kimberly said. Tommy, by this point, had leapt out of the cockpit of his Dragonzord and was standing to the side where Kimberly wasn't paying any attention to.
"Now to think of a way I can save Kimberly without harming her too much." Tommy said to himself.
