Sam stayed at home for two days. Her weight gain bothered her but she was hungry all the time. She tried eating the stuff that was healthy but somehow everytime she opened the refrigerator, it was for ice cream or the leftover lasagna that she wouldn't ouch two days ago. She was definitly fatter. She had to borrow clothes from her mother.
She was near hysterics after two days. Her weight was up 20 pounds and her trim body was starting to look well rounded.
"I can't go to school and let people see me like this." Sam sobbed.
Sam's mother had mixed feelings. Sam had always been so cocky about her body. She flaunted it before here friends and the high school jocks. She was always so careful about what she ate and how she dressed. She watched her daughter sobbing uncontrollably and at the same time shoveling enough food down her throat to feed a starving village. What was going on?" she wondered.
"I can't have anybody see me like this." Sam sobbed between bites. "You have to help me. I don't have anything to wear and I can't go back to school like this."
"I'll talk to your father. Maybe he can think of something."
Sam's mother left Sam with mixed feelings. Maybe her husband would know what to do.
Later after her mom and dad had thought about the options they presented Sam with two choices
