For several moments silence rules as Laura stares down your throat, eyes wide. Eventually she gives a faint smile, glances left and right nervously and then reaches forward, scooping your jaw up and closing your mouth firmly.
"Yes, best not show everyone that I think. Don't think they'd all appreciate the thought of disappearing down there."
Did that mean she WOULD appreciate it? Naaaw, she's just making fun right?
"Um, sure Laura. But what do I do?" You practically whisper, leaning over the table towards her. "I... I nearly ate you out there in the corridor. I dread to think what would happen if I stumble across some girl without warning and my instincts take over. I mean, would it even be safe? I know enough biology to know the human stomach takes a long while to deal with food, but this is already not normal. What if my digestion is speeded up too?"
She ponders, gazing off into space for a moment.
"Weeeell, probably the best bet would be a series of scientific experiments. Hopefully you can throw things up and we could just test durability. You eat something. Say a melon. Then later throw it up and we see how digested it is. Multiple tests with longer durations in your belly should prove how long it's safe to be in there."
She smiles back at you and reaches across the table, touching fingers with yours.
"Or you could just eat me now and I could find out the easy way."
This time your eyes go wide and she chuckles.
"I know I know, not safe. Tempting though. Look I really want to know more about all this. What say we meet after school at my place and do some tests hmm? I'll buy some fruit and we'll see what happens hmm?"
"I... Thanks Laura, I really appreciate it. I just want to know that things are going to be all right with this... ability."
You both stand up, somewhat awkwardly, and say your farewells. You can't resist looking back as she leaves the caffeteria, staring at her shapely bum as she walks off and still get the urge to gobble her up. Shaking your head you head off to your next class.
