You decide that your house should be a safe enough place to go. Your parents are both at work and your brother always goes to his friend's house after school. First, I'll see how slow I can make things.
You concentrate, then take a coin out of your pocket and let go of it in midair. The coin hangs almost motionless in midair. OK, now let's see... can I speed time up?
The coin falls to the carpet at normal speed. Just to make sure, you watch the clock for one minute... and it seems to be moving at a normal rate. If it's any faster, the difference is so slight that you didn't notice it. Right then, no speeding things up.
You spend the rest of the time experimenting, and as you do, you discover something. Anything you touch gets pulled out of time with you. So, potentially, you could take someone out of time with you... but if you lost contact with them, they would slow down along with everything else until you touched them again. Interesting... you think.
