Tifa's boredom won, and Tifa just had to get out of the house before she went insane. She went outside, locked the front door, and started down the trail. She was following down a trail she went on once before. The trail to the old Mako Reactor.
The Reactor had since shut down, all mako harvesting equipment stripped from the Reactor, and all lines connecting the surface to the lifestream filled in. It was rendered harmless, care of Cloud and Company. Tifa strolled along the path, a path she hadn't traveled in years. She looked at the scenary, which had brightened up since the Reactor shut down. Plants began to grow in the area, and animals could live here without choking from the waste put out by the smoke stacks. Tifa continued along the path to the reactor, but wasn't actually going to the Reactor. She was looking for something, something she hadn't seen in 10 years.
And there it was. A pristine, natural mako pool. And in the center of it, a piece of crystalized mako... materia. She hadn't expected another piecec of materia to crystalize there, she just wanted to see the beautiful pool, but while she was here, she might as well. So Tifa got on her knees, bent over the pool, and reached in, grabbing the materia. She pulled it back, and examined it. As usual, the knowledge of the Ancients contained within the materia told her the name, but this time she didn't understand it.
