Your instincts kick in, and you turn around to sprint in the other direction. In hindsight, you consider that jumping to the side may have been better. Too late to change your course now. You bolt as quickly as you can, praying that you make it to safety before Jessica's monolithic foot reminds you of your status as a tiny little bug.
You can almost hear the rumble of Jessica's car-sized toes approaching you far faster than you could hope to outrun. You cover your head, bracing yourself for the end of your life. Instead, you feel a sharp jab to your back. Jessica's toes collide with you, knocking you far forward to the front of her sandal. You roll across the surface of her insole for a few seconds, wincing at your bruised back from the impact. Oblivious to your plight, Jessica squeezes her toes into position, her big toe settling nicely next to the thong formed by the suede straps. You, meanwhile, lie just a few inches away, cursing yourself for your dangerous curiosity.
You're happy that you've at least been given this second chance. Now that Jessica's feet are perched nicely in front of you, you've been given an excellent opportunity to get her attention. However, your plans are cut short as you feel the ground shifting beneath you. The floor seems to be rising like an incline, and you realize that Jessica is lifting her foot up! As the angle of incline increases, you feel gravity pulling you closer to Jessica's deadly toes. In a panic, you leap forward, latching onto the front of her sandal for support.
The sandal rises up, and you find yourself hanging precariously over her deadly foot. Below you, her toes bounce with lethal force against the insole like the teeth of an enormous maw anticipating its next meal. You feel your grip faltering as her bouncing toes knock you about. You don't know if you'll be able to hang on for long...
