Chapter #3
Seating Arrangement Change?
by: LiLsmile
"And that will conclude today's lesson, students," Mrs. Sill explained, and immediately after, the bell rang. Mrs. Sill went right over to her desk, and started looking at some papers.
Nervously and slowly, Denise walked up to Mrs. Sill's desk. She waited there to see if Mrs. Sill would notice her, and when she didn't, Denise decided to speak up. "Uhh, Mrs. Sill," she started, "I was wondering if I could ask you a question about the seating arrangement."
Mrs. Sill looked up from her papers. "The seating arrangement?" she asked, friendly enough, "Why, of course. Does it have anything to do with your hearing or eyesight or anything like that?"
"Well...umm...well--yes," Denise said with a little relief, and embarrassment at the same time.
"Don't worry about it, hon, it happens all the time," Mrs. Sill said, "How's the first seat, second row for you?"
