In this world, the Lioness isn't huge. Well, not that huge, anyway. Standing seven feet six tall still leaves an impression, just not an impression in the asphalt.
In this world, the Lioness owns a house, and is called Kate. She lives in a city which regretfully does not have "fur" in the name, along with anthros of various species and sizes, ranging from four to ten feet in height.
They all get along, in broad terms. There's all the wars and crimes of a regular world and the odd bit of speciesism here and there, and on the whole the chance of getting eaten is pretty low
If you're an animal person, that is. If you're a human the chances you're going to end up in someone's stomach are remarkably high!
In fact, if you're a human, your chance of being stepped on, sat on, screwed to death or finding your end some other unusual, humiliating way is exponentially higher than if you're an anthro.
This is because humans are small. Very small. The shortest anthro in the world would have no trouble making the tallest human... disappear.
And disappearing in, or under anthros is exactly what humans do. There are no laws protecting humans in any country, and everyone is free to sell, buy, capture and use humans however they please without recourse.
