An alleyway

    by: Coolguy Author IconMail Icon
Kate was thinking about where the humans could have built a city. They must be somewhere they would have avoided being stomped flat. She was thinking this, as she was walking towards the busy center of her hometown. She wasn't really paying attention where she was going, as her bare paws were already stomping some of the mite human beings that were on the sidewalk. She had killed many in the process, as she walked on obliviously. Those humans who were on the sidewalk were usually the ones that had recently had their homes destroyed and didn't have anywhere to go. Some were trying to get to nearby cities and had gotten lost. In the end, they were all crushed into paste against Kate's paws.

As Kate walked and looked around her city, she was still thinking about where the humans could be. She walked a bit more, before an odor caught her attention. It smelt like trash and sewer alike. She looked to her left to see a dark alleyway which has a dumpster and door on the side of the building which lead to a fast food restaurant. Kate thought about it for a second, then realized it was the perfect place where a human city could be at. No one would care to check an alleyway, or ever clean it, so the tiny cities wouldn't get wiped out. It would be a perfect place for the humans to hide from the public, despite the smelly odor.
The lioness took her first step in the alleyway and already she felt something wet against her paw. It was a bit sticky but she doesn't mind at all since a city or two could be living in the swampy alleyway. She can tell it is pretty messy, there were wrappers everywhere and bottle liquids spill on the ground, creating lakes. It felt gross and that if a city lives here, then it is the most humiliating place to live. She cringed her nose a bit as she got deeper and deeper in the alleyway. Soon she could pick up a bit of smoke and could barely hear tiny vehicles roaming around. It was very faint but she knows she is getting close to her prize and she couldn't wait to snuff out these infestations that lived here or tease them to be extinct.

She looks down on the ground and around the dumpster to find any sight of tiny life forms. She even used a magnified glass that was in her pocket to see if she could spot any tiny human cities. She think she can find them with it and so she search with it.
