Hitching a Ride

Alan saw a string dangling from the side of one of the enormous duffel bags. Grabbing onto the string, he began to scale the canvas side of the bag. The steep slope presented quite a challenge to the shrunken man.

Eventually, the string delivered him to the top of the bag, which was zipped, but not completely.

The question of whether he should enter the bag was rendered mute when the giants began to move.

"Better get back to the base," said one of the soldiers as he reached for his bag.

With a scream, Alan pitched forward into the interior of the giant's duffel bag.

"Yeah. Don't want to be late for survival training," said his companion.

The giants are headed for survival training in...
