"Hey, good on ya, 'dough-boy'!" you joke,
"Ha, ha, ha. Old joke. But this job is cool, it's a job at the Old Homestyle Bakery," James tells you over the phone. The Old Homestyle Bakery is the best bakery in town as voted by the local paper and always has an amazing assortment of sweets at wonderful prices. It's one of your Dad's favorite places to pick up snacks.
"I guess I'll have to stop by and try a few piece of your work," you tell him with your mouth watering already.
"I can't wait," James says," I love their pastries."
"I'm sure you'll do fine," you tell him.
The two of you continue to chat about video game and such and soon you hear your stomach growl and realize you still haven't had any supper and say your goodbyes to James and hang up.
You sit down at the dinner table alone and begin to munch on your cold supper and wonder if you're ever going to get fatter like your brother and father. You sigh and wonder if you missed a golden opportunity with that bottle of Wishing Powder?
