"Don't feel bad, we've all had those moments and everybody usually wishes they hadn't have done them," you try to calm him because he seems sort of upset.
Jack holds off the water works for a few seconds and gives you a strange look.
"What?" you ask confused.
"The way you said wish," Jack says giving you a cold stare making you feel a lot smaller next to him," as if you know something."
"Like what?" you ask confused.
"I don't know," Jack snaps," I guess I'm just freaked because I'm this freaken huge! I mean, what could have done this to me? It couldn't have been an allergic reaction, maybe it's some kind of virus or magic."
"Ohhh," you say and remember the Wishing Powder.
"Ah-ha!" Jack says and points at you with his chubby finger," you do know something!"
"I only know that I was offered some magical Wishing Powder earlier today," you answer in a calm voice," I guess I should have taken it."
"Damn right," Jack says still pretty loud, but no longer crying.
"I guess I could go back to the store and buy it," you plan then realize you may not have enough money on you," can I borrow a few bucks to buy the stuff? I might be short."
"If it can return me to my normal size, go ahead," Jack says and goes to reach for his wallet in his pants and realize they ripped off earlier and he's only in his boxers," oops, my wallet's over here."
Jack walks over to his shredded pants and digs his wallet out of his pocket and hands it to you and remind you to hurry up. You agree and tell him to hide near a few trees until you return.
You slowly and carefully make your way out of the empty lot and across the street and through the mall parking lot and reach the mall and head inside and out of the fog.
"We don't normally get fog like this during summer," someone says as you walk into the mall.
You make your way to Notz and Yeps and see Swizzle reading a paper behind the counter.
"Swizzle!" you announce," I've changed my mind, I'll buy the Wishing Powder."
