"What exactly does it do?" you ask.
"Well, the owner said it changes people's weight. I was going to try it out." You nearly clobbered to get the device from Coach. But given your interest in the team and gaining weight, you decided to go the savvy route.
Nudging Coach you speak up, "Well, how about me?"
Coach looked surprised, "You? Kid, you realize that no one has tried this yet."
"But Coach, I need this. I've been the runt of my family forever. And I want to have a gut more than you realize.""
Coach was a bit shocked but smiled, "Kid, I know exactly how you feel. I was like you as well. Always the runt of my family. Now, look at me." He said slapping his belly. "I'll give you this gift. But you have to join the team."
You smile, heart pounding with delight, "Sure! Let's do this then!"
"Okay, I have to point this device at you and set the number in. You ready?"
