Chapter #6

Trapped

Eric drops a good distance to the bottom of
his brother's sneaker.

Of course, Zac's not wearing any socks. And
teeny Eric finds himself wedged between the
side of Zac's bare, sweaty foot and the walls of
the giant shoe.

He looks up toward the light and sees Zac's
face looming down, staring right at him. He
tries to wave at his huge brother. "Yes! Zac! It's
me! Eric!"

"Hmm. Shoe's untied," Zac mutters.

He bends over to tie the laces on his sneaker.

"No! Zac! I'm in here! Help!"

Zac tightens the laces as he ties them. The
space between the huge foot and the wall of
the sneaker narrows.

And then Zac is on the move again.

Oh my God! Eric's mind attempts to accept his
reality— he's trapped in his younger brother's
shoe!
