I ran as fast as I could, at my second glance of this charming creature I realized he was just that; a creature. My insides were telling me to get away. Go back to the shelter, that's where I live now.
When I got up to leave he grabbed me, "What, don't you remember me? I did you the biggest favor by killing your father. I've been protecting you for a long time."
