"Hold it, boys." said the coach, walking into the locker room. "Before you get in the shower, I need to tell you something. Now, I know you guys have been working hard these past months on the field as well as in the fields. So, i got the school to pay for us to go on a little trip to a resort type area so you boys can relax." The guys looked around at each other and smiled. "So boys, I need y'all to bring a bag of clothes with ya friday, because I've chartered a bus and we leave at 6 am." the coach finished.
"Uh, coach," said one of the boys, "I can't go. My dad needs my help this weekend."
"Don't you worry," said the coach, "I already talked to all y'all's parents and they agreed on it. So be here at 5:45 friday!"
The boys took their showers and got dressed while excitedly discussed the trip that they were gonna go on in no less than two days. The couldn't wait.
Friday rolled around and the boys all got on the bus. It seemed brand-new. The seats were alot farther apart than normal bus seats and they seemed to be extra sturdy. The boy all cot comfy and after about 15 minutes of driving down the country roads, they all were asleep.
