Emma sighed.
The phone rang. Emma had no choice but to answer it. She didn't really mind, but all she had wanted as soon as she found out she was alone, was a nice quiet, and peaceful evening. But then the phone rings, and it ruins everything.
But it just figured for Emma.
"Hello?" she asked.
"Hello, and you have just won ten million dollars!"
"Cut it out, James," Emma yelled, "You're not funny, I'm gonna hang up."
"No!" James yelled, "I mean...sorry Charlie. I didn't know you were so...uptight."
"Uh...yeah," Emma said.
This was usual behavior for somebody like James. He wasn't popular, he was a geek. Trying to get popular. But it never worked. And somehow, he had gotten Emma's phone number and now he was going to bug her all day.
