Clara's friends

Now, Clara seemed more and more interested in video games then ever...and so did most of the boys in her first grade class. The girls were all interested in dresses and clothes...but not Clara. She was a girl unlike any of the others.
All her friends were boys, and not one girl--that is, except for her friend, Betsy Lou, because Betsy Lou lived across the street, and her mother had deeply wanted her to be friends with the "sweet little girl" when she was nothing but pure annoyance--even more annoying than Clara herself!
But Clara mostly talked to her best friend, Joey. They were all about video games and stuff like that. Clara always would beg her mom to have Joey over but her mom would always say, "Why don't you have sweet little Betsy Lou over instead?"
So, Clara was always stuck with Betsy.
