Neither Mr. Jacobson or Kevin were keen to approach a thing as strange as a dragon, especially a very large, very blue dragon that appeared to have smoke rising from its nostrils. They were both glad it looked far away and uninterested in them. They headed for the house.
It started to rain big sloppy drops. Soon they stood before the door. It was an ancient door with an ancient door knocker and no bell, not an inviting door at all.
"Well?" said Mr Jacobson.
"Well what?" replied Kevin.
"Knock," said Mr Jacobson.
Kevin considered the futility of arguing for a moment and grasped the door knocker. As he did so there was a creak and the door swung inwards. Inside all was darkness. They noticed the dragon was closer than before and getting closer. And it was watching them with glassy black eyes. And there was now sparks coming out its nostrils. It was altogether too close for comfort.
