Dauphin scratched her itchy scalp and looked around for the nearest inn. Most of the alleyways were narrow, although others wide. The dozens of things being sold in them were very intriguing but she had to press on to an inn. Her legs grew wearier as she walked along the southern most alley.
Soon though she happened upon a small inn, nestled by a rive bank and tucked into the corner of the alley. Dauphin opened the door and coughed as she inhaled the smoke filled air. There was a big brown sign that read "The South Inn."
She quickly made her way to the front desk. A large man swirled around and looked at her with his small eyes. He had a large and musty white beard an he was flipping a coin in his right hand.
“Can I help you?” He asked, his voice old and raspy but when he smiled his teeth were surprisingly white.
