The cottage house

Street after street, she walked into the ever-darkening sky, in quest of a place to stay. She didn't want a palace, just a place to put her sleepy head on until the sun shone on her rugged face. She reached a wooded area but was hesitant to enter. Spotting a light, she went in to find a beautiful cottage home. Her face lit up as she heard footsteps following her knock. An old man stood and softly asked her what she needed. " A place to stay the night, sir... if you please."
