"In case you haven't noticed," the bartender said slowly, sweeping his arms wide to draw Dauphin's attentions to the rest of the room, "this is a bar strictly for persons of the non-human persuasion. We don't want your sort here."
Dauphin looked around, seeing that several of the creatures around the inn, whether bulky troll or scrawny goblin, were looking right back at her, their eyes narrowed and glaring. All had gone quiet and several weapons were being idly brushed with taloned fingers.
She sighed. How did these sort of things always happen to her?
