Despite the gloom Dauphin could see the welcome was not a friendly one. The person on the other side of the door was armed, and looked as likely to kill her as let her in.
"Is that the way to greet someone who once saved your life Tamor?" she asked.
"Arian?" came the incredulous reply.
"It's Dauphin now... but yes."
And with that, Tamor flung the door open and embraced her.
"Took your time didn't you?" he asked.
"I've been busy. But I'm here now aren't I?" she replied.
"Well from now on I am your obedient servant."
"All I need now is a bed for the night... and somewhere for my faelan, of course."
