Ellie is a quite short and shy lady, being only 5'0 tall. She still did manage to join the Legion of all things.
Her village was at war with the legion, so she had to pickup armorsmithing to help out. She became good at it too, making a primitive version of Power Armor which used small generators instead of a Fusion Core. One day however, the Legion broke through the Village's defenses and killed most people. Ellie, wearing and testing a voice changer she installed, tricked the Legion into believing that she was a man. However,they wanted her to join the Legion, or they would be killing her. Extremely outnumbered, Ellie agreed.
In the legion, she saw things, she did things. For several months she would be pillaging, killing people, soldiers, innocents and so on. She would be fighting animals, tribes and eventually NCR while also meeting quite important figures on Caesar's Legion. Eventually, she would be moved to New Vegas where her life would do a 180° degree turn again. A small shootout in Freeside against some random crminals quickly escalated after someone told Mr. House about there being a Legion soldier very close to Strip. He dispatched several Securitrons who managed to hit several of the generators in Ellie's armor, rendering her immobile.
Without any choice, she was taken prisoner by the Bot Army who would trap her in a remote location before turning to torturing her for information on Caesar's Legion. After all was done, she was forced into the job of recovering a very important package for Mr. House, the Platinum Chip.
She can be pushed around and has become spineless from the things done to her and is currently severely weakened, but she is still experienced in repairs, medicine and armors in general.
She is also experienced in Unarmed and Melee combat, but unfortunately, without her "Power Armor", she is as strong as wet noodle. A source of concern, sure. But being in this story, she may find herself back in diapers which is maybw good for her. Considering all those beatdowns that Mr. House's Securitrons did on her, thete's a good chance her continence fell apart.
