Byakku caught his breath after his training. Basically there was nothing to do here in the castle but train and mingle with the three other Saint Beasts. Byakku kept training not wanting to fall behind and become weak like Genbu. The only reason why Genbu was still alive in here was his usefulness to communicate with their subordinates in the city since they were confined here in Maze Castle.
Suddenly Byakku sniffed the air. A strange scent one that he smelled before. It could only mean one thing... intruders! Byakku could smell that they weren't too far. Surprising most of the demons that came here died at the Gate of Betrayal.
Byakku revealed a menacing smile. Demons always had the insane idea that they could defeat the Four Saint Beasts and take over their territory. Of course all perished. But to have gotten this far inside and remain undetected well that was commendable. Byakky felt like he was going to have some fun and end his boredom for at least a couple of minutes.
Byakku rushed it of his lair heading to the bridge hoping to cut them off their and face his prey. He scaled up to the tower waiting for tje intruder.
