It had been about another 2 hours, it was 7 by the time Penny slowly sat up out of bed rubbing her eyes. It took her a moment as she moved out of bed looking to the sides. She was looking at her brothers room yawning as she hopped out of bed. At first it was a bit more disorienting but as she was him about 4 times a week she had gotten used to his room.
She moved around the room rubbing her eyes again as she left it. She missed waking up in her body and bed but at least being her brother had a few perks. For one she didn't have to worry about getting all dressed up, she didn't have to worry about her outfit or makeup. And for her second favorite part, she could relax with no worries at all. She thought smiling as she got to the living room jumping onto the couch turning on the tv.
On the tv cartoons came on, Penny had enjoyed them quite a bit growing up. Though she watched them more and more in her brothers body and came to enjoy them more then ever. Though as she sat back watching the tv she could hear some footsteps coming into the room. She looked up not a surprised look on her face but a smile as she saw her best friend Stacy walk in her eyebrow raised to Penny.
"I take it by that smile that its you Penny?" Stacy says sighing as she moves towards Penny in Jake's body. She sits down on the couch next to her glancing to her side. Penny smiles, "Yep its me, out of a work day once again." She says leaning back on the couch happy with what she had done. Though Stacy sighed rubbing her head glancing over at her friend. "Well I mean if you like it, though I don't know if its worth it. I mean your parents are trying to give you experience and you are rejecting it. Plus I mean at this rate you are basically spending a equal amount of time as your brother then you are as yourself." She says, though during that Penny had been rolling her eyes.
"Yeah yeah, I'll be fine. As for spending time as my brother its fine as you are also here to hang out with me, by watching me!" She exclaims excitedly as she sits back on the couch causing Stacy to sigh to herself as she glances at her phone. She smiles a bit texting back to a message as Penny looks to the side raising a eyebrow, "Who are you texting?" She asks leaning over trying to see.
Stacy quickly moves her phone away quickly making a excuse. "Oh its just Katy, she asked if I wanted to hang out but I had to tell her I was watching 'Jake'." She says as Penny shrugs with a smile. "I mean we could go hang out with them." She says as Stacy shakes her head, "Your parents said you can't leave the house, along with that none of them know its you in Jake's body."
Though in reality Stacy was lying to Penny, she was actually texting Jake in her body. Through them swapping Stacy had gotten to know Jake a bit more and she chatted with him over the phone when it was slow at the shop. Her gaze then went back to Penny noticing Penny's gaze move back to the tv distracted by it. Stacy slowly got up, "I'll grab you some breakfast." She says before moving to the kitchen preparing some breakfast.
Though Penny nodded at her friends response looking back at the tv thinking. Maybe her friend was right about this, she should work without swapping with her brother. Since she wasn't getting any experience with work.
