A little more than a hundred miles west of Wairwol is the town of Aglahla. Aglahla sits on the edge of Lupin territory, at the base on the northern side of a mountain in the Kingdom’s Southern Mountain Range.
The town is part of a barony that your friend Dallen can purchase because he’s a bastard.
A literal bastard, not a figurative one. Dallen is a quiet sort, but a loyal and stalwart companion. He’s also the illegitimate son of a marquess. Dallen is also a highly decorated veteran who was awarded the title of baronet.
By Kingdom law, Dallen can buy the barony that Aglahla is part of. And as a new baron, Dallen can concede the mountain to Daruk Bluntstone who, with his clan, could create the Kingdom’s easternmost “dwarven home.” Dallen could then donate funds for the building a temple to Fajsal, making Toman chief priest there (and then build a manor for Toman and his extended family).
And, of course, you would be granted the forests adjacent to Lupin territory, giving you a place to bring your extended family.
In essence, the group of you would have a place to adventure from, as well as a place for your mutual families to live and watch out for each other while you and your veteran friends are out adventuring.
All you need for all this to happen is a good deal of gold.
