Witch

There a lot of advantages of being a witch, particularly a good witch in the service of a celestial being like Briella.

One of the advantages is that being a witch, even a good witch, both irritates and embarrasses your mother’s family.

Another advantage is that, as long as you use your powers for good, Briella pretty much leaves you to your own devices.

Once in a while, though, Briella’s mistress Avida will tell her something needs to be done. Briella, in turn, will turn to a mortal who has made a pact with her, to get this something done.

In this case, you’re the mortal that Briella is choosing to get a thing done. Briella has sent you a vision, telling you that you need to aid a certain novice knight.

The novice knight in question belongs to an order that has Avida, the goddess of spring, as its patroness. They are a skilled warrior who can call on the power of Avida to combat the undead, which is their order’s primary mission.
