As soon as Jaden heard that question his heart broke into a million pieces as he slumps forward. The sound of metal armor hitting stone reaches his ears, but Jaden pays it no mind, “Stop, he must be delirious from being summoned. Let me take care of him since he is my responsibility.”

As Jaden feels his right arm being grabbed he hears a whisper in his native tongue, “I can explain but only when we’re alone.” Jaden looks up seeing warm hazel eyes looking at him as he gets up and let’s himself be led around.
