As Morgan slowly turned around her eyes widened in horror. Before the faerie queen was a now huge frog. It sat there on the log only a few feet away. She felt as her heart thundered in her chest as she stared at the amphibian. Morgan had ocassionally heard tales of tiny faeries devoured by frogs back in Faerie Britain. Apparently, frogs found faeries exceptionally delicious and would go out of their way eat any that were small enough. Back during her reign Morgan never paid much attention to those stories, and was never worried about being eaten by a frog herself one day. After all she had been too big for a frog to eat.
However, one look was enough to tell the beautiful woman that she was now small enough to fit in this frog's mouth with ease. And as the highest ranking kind of faerie she would no doubt be quite the delicacy for this amphibian. It was at this thought that Morgan fully realized what it meant to be at the bottom of the food chain and defenseless. She had some understanding before, but the true weight of it didn't really sink in until she realized she might be about to become the most delicious meal this frog has ever had. It was almost as terrifying for her as the caterpillar wars had been, but she subconsciously knew this situation was worse as she was completely helpless and had no one to kill the beast for her this time.
Though Morgan had to admit the situation wasn't entirely hopeless. From the looks of it the frog hadn't noticed her yet. The miniscule faerie queen might be able to sneak away before it noticed. However the question is had the frog noticed her?
