You were her boss and you needed to demand some respect.
"Jess, I'm your goddamn boss and if you don't show me some respect I will fire your ass." You berate her.
She steps back removing her hand from your face and sits back down in her chair, crossing one leg over the other giggling. "You are going to fire me?" she laughs hysterically. "Tom, you may be my boss but you have no authority to make such threats. On what grounds as well, do you really think Courtney would allow you to fire me."
She saw right through your empty threat and now you began to panic. Flustered and erratically you attempted to storm out of her office but before you could reach the door in came Amber.
Amber was wearing a tight black dress that made the outline of her body look almost impeccable. Her long legs were wrapped in nylons embroiled with black floral pattens. She wore flats at the bottom of her feet yet she still stood a significant amount taller than you. You slowly backed up and were now stood in the middle of the two women.
"Oh hi Mr.Tom. If it isn't our new BOSS" she mocked with a sarcastic tone.
The two girls were inseparable around the office. Constantly giggling and making remarks at the expense of virtually everyone. When you became their manager you wanted to have a stern word with the pair of them to cut it out but now you stood before them you heart began to race and your palms grew sweaty.
"Tom here was trying to demand that we show him some respect because of his new position." Jess said.
Amber continued, "Well isn't that an odd request." Her eyes turned to yours, "Surely you know respect is earnt and not just simply handed to you Mr.Tom" now the pair of them were giggling. You were becoming angry now and wanted to intervene but the girls were laughing too loud and you couldn't get a word in edge ways, so everything that came out was a mumble creating more laughter.
Jess finally said, "And he threatened to fire me. Right here, him shouting at me".
Amber found that one hilarious. The way they were laughing really stung you but you felt so helpless in front of them. You were their manager but they were the ones humiliating you.
Amber broke her laughter, "You know you should really apologise for such a threat to her you know."
Jess returned, "Yeah I think I'd like that. Tom why don't you get down on your knees In front of me and apologise."
