Monika looked down into the fake eyes that were stitched into your fabric. Although they didn't express emotion, she still knew how you were suffering. With your nose crammed right between her smelly toes, it wasn't exactly a surprise you weren't elated. But something about those eyes.
"Don't look at me like that."
Maybe she shouldn't have turned you into a cute sock. With the adorable, expressive brown eyes that never left her. Had she really managed to make herself feel guillty? She sighed.
"Fine. I'll go easy on you. Just for today though!"
She moved her hands down to the top of you, slipping you down. You peeled off of her leg, eventually being freed from her foot. She grumbled as she considered what to do with you. Her brow was furrowed and she looked deep in thought, considering. Her lips curled to a frown for a few moments, until she eventually brightened up.
"I've got it! Since you feel likek being so cute, I'll turn you into a little doll!"
And, from your perspective, it was just as easily said as done. Your body stretched and expanded and you could feel your insides coming together and filling in. Once the process was over, Monika showed you your new form. It looked...surprisingly like you. Not the most detail, but you imagined your friends would see the resemblance. The doll's eyes were empty though, with a happy smile. Monika pulled you to her, rubbing your little doll face against her chest as she squeezed you into a big hug. If you had lungs, you were sure she'd be squeezing the air out of you.
"There, that should help. Now, let me just set you right here."
And with a little messing around, Monika put you in her backpack, but didn't close it all the way so that your head was sticking out. With a lift, you were set behind her shoulders, staring behind her. She started walking to school, and you bobbed up and down It was way better than looking at the inside of her shoe, you couldn't help thinking to yourself.
What happens next?
1) Monika needs to take a bus. She looks at you, and realizes you might make a great cushion.
2) You arrive to the classroom, but fall out of Monika's backpack. One of the other girls steps on you.
