You woke up in complete darkness. How early was it? You battled with the idea of checking your phone and seeing if you should get up, but it was way too dark for it to be anything but the middle of the night. Sleepy haze still clouding your mind, you flipped over in your bed, searching for a new position.
Or at least, you tried to. Your arm refused to move. In fact, now that you were trying to wriggle about, your whole body wouldn't move! On instinct, you tried to call out, but you weren't able to make a sound. It wasn't that you tried to make a sound and it was muffled; your mouth literally wasn't responding to your commands to move it.
Good morning! Someone finally woke up.
That was Monika's voice. It reverberated through your mind like an echo. The sensation made you feel a bit dizzy; it just felt so unnatural. You feebly attempted to call back, but once again, no sound came out. Wood slid against wood and the day's light finally fell onto you. Monika's face hung above you, much larger than usual. She was grinning happily, eyes burning with a strange glee.
"Well hello there! I hope you're ready to have a fun day close to me."
Her hand reached in for you, and just before she grabbed you, you got a scan of where you'd just been. It was a drawer filled with clothes! Had she turned you into something?
"Good to see you figured it out quickly. Now, we have a lot to do today."
