Perhaps you’d like the story of the Laura specifically focused on in the Venomverse comics? One that bonded with Venom while escaping the Facility, meeting Kiden Nixon and the rest of the NYX cast, and eventually becoming involved in the Venomverse event?
Perhaps it isn’t Venom at all that Laura encounters? Or at least not the original Venom, be it a different, more sadistic version of Venom, or another symbiote entirely, either way this specific entity will not exactly have X’s best interests in mind, specifically hoping to humiliate her every step of their story together?
