You suddenly find your sword ripped away from you. The gaggle of ten smaller pygmy goblins swarmed like angry bees. You tried to scream only to be muffled a grimy hand clamped over your mouth, as well as the rest of your limbs. The Green silk hat gnome furrowed his brow and steadied his blade. “We have had quite enough of this. Have at you!” He slashed, bashed, and even tried prying the green creatures off to no avail. The goblins were heartily determined for revenge and resists any attempts.
“I knew they should have done something about these *things* before the first day!”
High above you saw what looked to be a pink dot fluttering near one of the light fixtures. It darted down closer revealing itself to be a fairy with pink wings and hair. She sported a casual top with a purple jacket and purple jeans. Fairies were known for their magic! But given how much of a failure its been this whole encounter your not sure what trick would he-
THOOM
Suddenly what had been a normal, well normal compared to a gnome, sized fairy suddenly had grown to the size of one of the giants.
“All right everyone, I can’t hold this long due to all the first day protections up.”
With one arm she firmly nudged both group of onlookers, her other hand quickly brushed the green hat gnome away from you.
“All students return to your business, That includes you Mr hero! Now I’ll take care of… HEY!”
The fairies attempt at a dynamic entry merely gave your assaulters the window they needed. You felt your body heaved up and with surprisingly speed carried into the crack. The Fairies hand in almost instant hot pursuit. Though all it would do is quickly slam into the wall. A finger prying two goblins off your legs the cried “#####!” as they were pulled back into the light of the hall. The eight others easily reforming to keep you bound and sliding deeper and deeper into the bowls of the wall.
It was claustrophobic inducing within the stone walls. Your body was wracked with pain. This was not how you wanted your first day to go. Everything was going so fast. How had It gone so wrong. Your gut dropped your goblin travel leaped down a fair distance onto what seemed like a plastic pipe. They scrambled for a moment on the slick surface but quickly regained their grip on you. In the faint shadow of the crack, you could just make out the shade of some type of rope that dangled upwards in the stone work. It seems goblins were much smarter than the bugs you had jokingly compared them to. You heard the words of your elders in your head. “When lost, always take in every detail of your surroundings.” You tried to remain hyper vigilant. But within the near pitch-black caverns the only thing you could fully dissect at the moment was the horrendous smell and clammy taste of the goblins hand.
You were carried along the plastic pipe for a time, any struggles were met with a heavy punch to your middle. You then reached another rope. Your captors grumbled at each other as if discussing how to proceed. You were wise enough to know now would be the worst time for an escape attempt so you played along. The goblins split into two groups forcing you to climb between them. Once at the top they assumed the same group grip along your body. Rope led to a cavern that rumbled with the steady breath of frosty air that chilled your skin. Faint rays of light illuminated the grey metallic like walls through slits in the ceiling. The air pressure was pushing its way up and out these slits. You traveled Straight down one corridor until you got to a four way cross roads, a left was taken at a three way cross roads, a right taken at another four ways, a right again at a three way, straight for a few cross roads. Then Finally after climbing up a long accent you were met with one final rope climb into a slitted exit in the ceiling.
