“Go join your peers in the tiny section.”
She knelt down onto the ground and placed you onto a marked section of the floor. Strewn about was several desks, sized to meet the needs of the tiny races. The floor shook a little as Oleandar returned to the front of the class, giving you just a few seconds to find an open seat.
Looking around, most of the seats were already full. Though all the seats at the back were strangely empty. Walking over to what you assumed was a pixie, you decided to ask about it.
“Hey, are those seats reserved or something? Why’s no one sitting in them?”
He looked at you with a bit of surprise.
“You can’t tell just by looking? They’re the ones closest to the giant section.”
He wasn’t wrong, but how bad could it possibly be? Surely the school thought things through when drawing the tiny areas out.
“Eh, I’m sure it’ll be fine. Thanks for the help!”
Just as you turn to walk away, you spot what seems like a look of pity on his face. You’ll be fine… right?
After walking past another dozen tiny students, you finally reach the empty desks at the back. You did so just in time, as Oleandar began to speak.
“Morning class, and welcome to Magic 103. It seems we are missing a few tiny students, but I suppose there are slackers for every size of student.”
Judging from the empty seats next to you, around 7 students didn’t show up. You hoped they did it intentionally, and not… something else.
As she continued her introduction to the class, you decided to take a look at the giant student section behind you. After all, you’d be the closest to them now. A small distance away from your desk was an absolutely gigantic one. It took up practically your entire field of view for the giant section. From this angle you couldn’t tell who was sitting at it, just their feet and legs. They had very light skin and blue shorts, with the only footwear being sandals.
“Huh, guess this school is fine with all kinds of clothes.”
Soon enough Ms. Oleandar finished with her introductions, and began teaching the first lesson. It was somewhat hard to hear her, but even harder was trying to figure out where to look. She stood just in front of the tiny section, her massive figure towering over the tiny desks. You doubted the people at the front could even see her face past her chest. Additionally, the low angle meant all of you could see… under her skirt. She didn’t seem to mind or care though, and just continued teaching. You did your best to take notes, but it was hard to take your eyes off your surroundings
Suddenly, you heard something moving behind you. Turning your head, you spotted the now empty frame of a sandal just a little bit away from you. But wait, if the giant’s sandal was empty, then where was the foot? Unfortunately, your question would soon be answered.
A shadow was cast over you and your desk, with the culprit being a gigantic foot floating above you! Whoever was sitting at the giant desk was stretching out her legs, without much concern for the tiny section in front of her. Guess this is why that other guy advised you not to sit here, huh?
Before you could even move, the front of her foot came crashing down. You winced and closed your eyes, preparing for a painful impact. You waited and waited, but nothing happened. Maybe she moved her foot elsewhere? Although you were still a bit afraid of doing so, you slowly reopened your eyes. Surely enough, there was no longer a foot hovering above you.
“Phew, that was a close one. I better move out of the way in case it happens again…”
Just as you tried to move, you realized a small issue. You couldn’t. Surrounding you on both sides was skin, along with what seemed to be painted nails on top.
“Uh oh.”
Although you were lucky enough not to have been squashed underfoot, your current predicament was just as dangerous. You were trapped in between two of her toes! You attempt to push yourself out of your seat by using the two giant toes as leverage, but to no avail. In fact, touching the skin just prompted the toes around you to tighten together.
