Donna’s slightly chubby hand made it’s way towards you, her index finger and thumb extended. The look of disbelief was evident on her face, her wide eyes unable to hide behind her glasses. Her fingers gripped you softly, with a cautious tenderness you’d never experienced with Dr. Wright.
Lifting you just inches from her face, Donna’s eyes studied you, and you could tell the shock was overwhelming her.
“You’re… you’re one of my customers… you’re… you’re so small…” she said, smoke slowly escaping her mouth around the cigarette. As it flowed over you you let out a cough, which made her giggle slightly. You could tell she was taking in the absurdity of the situation. Her face softened.
“What happened?” She asked, taking a drag from the cigarette and removing it from her lips, smiling mischievously and gently blowing the smoke on you. Your coughs made her giggle again.
“I signed up for an experiment, one of those medical studies - then the scientist shrunk me… when her lab got raided, she left me in front of the convenience store.”
Donna’s look changed to slightly puzzled, as she took another drag off of her cigarette. She flicked it towards the dumpster, this time exhaling away from you.
