After taking relaxing rest on the couch and having the whole mornings worth of work catch up to her the idea of driving to the beach this instant did not seem all that appealing. With a heavy sigh Abby says to her friends.
"Well if it would not be much trouble then I think I could take a little rest for today."
She says pressing a hand to her lower back, trying to relieve the pain her chest causes. She likes to think it helps.
"No problem Abby you deserve some rest and think about what we said."
Carmen says standing up and hugging her, the much larger chest pressing into her own. As the two heaving chest pressed into each other Nicky wrapped tightly and snuggly around Carmen's groaned in agony as he was being compressed. The poor bra shaped young man wondering why his mother feels like she can even "ground" him still when he is an adult.
"Yeah it's all good well get the Shack up and running but we can use some help."
Susan said looking around, Claire was already halfway out the door for work and Dorothy with Harry in hand went upstairs to shower then head to the comic shop for her shift. Holly looked wide eyed and eager, she was still dressed down but she rose up and gave her mom a quick hug.
"I'll take a quick shower and head down there, no worries mom."
Abby smiled proud and while Holly was taking her shower upstairs, she and the girls sat and talked.
"So Carm what did little Nick do this time?"
Abby asked her friend, eyes lingering on Carmen's heaving chest with the tanned stretched bra that was poor Nicky. She knows of how Carm uses licenses to punish her tiny sons and while Abby disagrees with it she wont let a political difference come between her friends. The question made Carm's usual bright and wide smile faltered, replaced with a disappointed grimace as she recounted Nick's grand sin that led to this grounding.
"Hmp, I love my little guy but he has been so distracted lately dating this new girl and I told him if his grades fall too low then their will be consequences."
She said sternly, what she did not reveal to Abby and Susan is that Carmen counted Nick lowering his grade from a A to a B minus as punishable. Abby simply nodded her head while not agreeing with her idea of parenting knowing the unspoken rule to never parent another person's kid. Plus you saw the logic here, she set down rules and her son broke them.
Susan who was way more against using Usage Licenses being a member of the local WWC chapter remained silent, long ago both friends learned neither was gonna change the others mind. So to preserve the friendship they let each other express their beliefs with respect.
Soon enough Holly comes bouncing downstairs she is now wearing short denim jean shorts and a loose sleeveless tee, Abby can see her bikini sticking out under. She hoped her daughter was gonna actually help the Shack and not just surf all day.
"Thanks tons sweetheart, I will make hazel nut brownies tonight."
Abby promised and Holly's eyes sparkled.
"Your the best mom!"
She squeals and before this wholesome family moment can come to a close they hear a yelp from behind and turn to see Carmen holding a flailing Vince.
"Let me down now, I did not agree to this!"
He protested face flushed and veins in his neck. Carmen looked unimpressed.
"Think well grab this little guy for you Abby so you can relax in peace."
She says as she swiftly drops Vince onto her chest, Abby watches as her son falls on mounds of caramel tone softness and slowly as if in quick sand he sinks deep and falls. His body sinking into her deep dark crevice muffling what ever clever words he had.
"Well promise me you will take him out when you get there."
Abby tells her and when Carmen winked she turned to Susan.
"Don't worry I will make sure Vince is out and about helping us."
Susan promises and with that Abby sends off the rest of her family, during Holly's shower Dorothy and Harry already left so now she truly had the whole place to herself.
She had no idea what to do, as she plopped onto the soft couch and the house was silent she wondered what to do. Relaxing was good for the first ten minutes but now she is restless. Well she can think of three things to do.
1. She cave in and take out her phone and finally give this tiny dating app a chance, she does think that her kids and friends are right that she deserves happiness but lets see what tiny folk this thing will try to claim as her soul mates.
2. She decides to take a light easy jog around town and see the sights, some lazy unplanned but proactive activity to pass the time.
