Alex felt energy course through his body as he meditated, gathering the ambient aura. The lad's muscles grew warm with the power. He fought against his body's urge to move. Alex finished his meditation several minutes later and stood up. Now back in the waking world, he felt the gentle breeze brush against his skin with the sun heating his bare body. As he enjoyed the weather, the young Reaper looked around the area, using the hill he stood on for a better view. He used his Auric senses to scan for threats too.
The boy shrugged before stretching. Then, he walked over to his clothes and getting dressed. With his supplies, Alex descended down the hill toward the closed Protected Place while relaxing in peace. What should I buy this time? Hmm, I'll check when I get there. He decided.
Alex knew Greenridge was days away but he didn't care. The young teen focused some of his Aura inside of his stomach, slowing his digestion greatly. He leisurely continued along his walk across the grassland. Though even with his nickname, Alex kept his senses heightened as he neared the forest.
Gooseflesh prickled Alex's skin as he leaped back. His muscles spasmed with hot pain and his dodge was thrown off. Well, shit. I couldn't move fast enough. Alex groaned as his Regeneration kicked in, sealing the electric burn across his chest.
He shifted into a defensive stance, looking for his attacker. A soft zap warned Alex as the teen blocked the next attack. Using his aura, Alex activated Armor of the Jackal creating strong bones over his body. He got a good look at his enemy. With the skeleton head of a jackal forming over his head, Alex grinned at the man before him.
The brown-haired man grumbled upon seeing his attack stopped but vanished in a blur of purple lightning. He launched bolts of lighting and solid electric whips at Alex, trying to overwhelm him with speed and numbers.
Alex yelled as pain ran through his body with his muscles seizing again. Burns and cuts from the man's blitz quickly covered Alex's body. But, he used Limbs of the Dead to form two massive hands encasing him like shields. With dozens of lightning spears, whips and bolts hitting his defenses, Alex healed within seconds. Stomping the ground, Alex used his Limbs to create a large pool of grasping hands, attempting to capture his opponent. Charging his body with aura, Alex growled, "one mistake...just one misstep and I'll catch you."
