“Alright, let's see how small this makes me!”
She squinted at the two devices in her hands, trying to read the size dials.
“I think that says… 70cm. That should be good for a first test.”
70cm? Thinking to yourself, you didn’t remember having set sizes on the shrink-ray dial, just multipliers. And they sure didn't go up to 70. You watched Pei point one of the rays at herself, which was when you realized Pei wasn’t wearing any glasses. And the thing she was pointing at herself was not your shrink ray!
“Wait Pei, that’s your grow-!”
A green beam of light shot out of it, covering Pei’s body in a faint green glow.
“Eh? It’s my what?”
And then, Pei began to grow. First, a few centimeters at a time, which quickly turned into a few inches. She watched in curiosity as the floor moved away from her head, before bumping her head on the ceiling.
“Ah, whoops. Looks like I mixed them up!”
Realizing the severity of the situation, you grabbed Pei’s arm and tried pulling her out of her apartment. If she grew massive in here, who knows how much destruction it’d cause!? Plus, you’d have to pay the landlord extra, and you were already tight on funds.
“You’ve gotta get out of here! Quick, get to the balcony!”
While you and Pei ran out of the apartment room, she dropped the two ray guns on the floor. You wanted to go back for them, but you didn’t have any time to spare. Ensuring yours and others' safety comes first right now.
“Hey, it’s getting kinda tight in here…”
Looking back, Pei was already 10 feet tall, with her body scaling proportionally. She had to crouch her body as she ran through the relatively tiny hallway. At this rate, she’d be growing over 3 inches a second! Thankfully, she considered the same issue you did when building your shrink ray, and her clothes grew alongside with her. Her hand quickly became over 2x the size of yours, and at this point, she was carrying you with her as she ran.
The two of you reached the balcony of the apartment building, overlooking a parking look. Unfortunately, the floor beneath you two started to crack under Pei’s increasing weight. You weren’t sure what to do, but Pei got an idea.
“Judging from my current accelerated growth I should be approximately 70 feet tall within the next 5 seconds. That means if we jump…”
“E-Eh? What do you mean we-”
The insanity of Pei’s plan aside, why was she taking you with her!? You didn’t have any time to complain, as Pei’s now massive arm wrapped around your body and pulled you in towards her. You could feel your body be pushed against her chest, submerging your head between two massive airbags.
And with that, Pei leaped off the balcony.
She fell through the air for a second, but her on-the-spot calculation proved to be flawless. She quickly grew to her final height of 70 feet mid-fall, and gently landed on the ground below. Well, gently for her anyways. To anyone on the ground, they witnessed a gigantic jean-clad butt appear just before it crashed into the parking lot. The impact was nearly like a mini-earthquake, not to mention it having instantly flattened any cars in its path.
“Sweet, that worked out!”
Pei grinned, happy that her calculation was correct. Her butt now covered nearly the entire parking lot, with her legs stretching out far into the road. Sitting down, her head reached just over the height of the apartment building. However, she didn’t seem to mind (or even notice) any of this.
“Hey Mark, nice quick thinking getting us out of my room. I could’ve destroyed my laptop!”
She smiled down at her arm and gave Mark a thumbs up. Only, Mark wasn’t there.
“Ah right, I forgot it only grows the first thing it hurts. Where’d you go?”
Meanwhile, Mark was in a bit of a pickle. Since Pei’s rapid growth didn’t affect you, you were essentially suspended in the air once she grew to 70 feet. Due to the height at which the growth happened, that left you right at her chest. Or well, you assumed it was. At this size it was basically like looking at two round mountains. You held on desperately to the top of her gray undershirt, as falling either way spelt doom for you. Letting go would send you free falling dozens of feet above ground. But trying to crawl any closer could result in you falling head first into the deep valley of her immense cleavage. To you, both options would result in certain death.
Your current position meant you couldn’t see Pei’s face past her chest, but the same was also true for Pei. You just hoped she’d somehow notice you before something happened.
