Koa Kalani, a fit teenage boy and lifeguard-in-training on duty at a Honolulu beach sat atop his place and watched over the bathers. The binoculars that were part of his job allowed him to zoom in on any area he could see. But more often than not, it was to sneak peaks at a pretty person of the female persuasion. And those swimsuits were just made to occasionally fall off. He loved his job.
“Wowie!” he breathed. He’d been resigned to a not too interesting morning, but the Hawaiian was pleasantly surprised by the arrival of a large family. Nine in all. Adults? Eh. Boys? Ditto. But the girls! Slim, blonde, bikini-clad. With a grin, he put up the ma ka mākaʻikaʻi or On Patrol sign and went for a jog. Not directly for the family, of course, but when he got close enough introduced himself “Ma’ams, sir, aloha. Haven’t seen your family before. Just get here?”
The man took the lead “Mike Brady. My wife Carol. Alice. Our sons Greg, Peter, Bobby. Daughters Marcia Jan Cindy.”
“See you got a board.” Koa shook hands with the males first, and addressed the oldest boy “I’ll run over with you and point out the surf spots. But, forgive me, first I must specially welcome the young ladies. And may I compliment your swimsuits.” He flashed a grin and flexed his chest muscles as he turned to them.
All three girls flushed and tittered at the attention “I’m Marcia. The oldest. Nice to meet’cha.” Declared the first blonde, leaning forward to allow a cleavage peak.
“Jan.” the middle one shoved her way in aggressively. She shook the boy’s hand and fingered his palm flirtatiously.
The youngest, with curls, was silent and blushing so the lifeguard purposely approached he, said “And you must be Cindy. Well, we always look out for pretty girls.” He kissed both her cheeks, each time running his tongue along the flesh. Pulling away he winked at her.
“You look rather young.” Mrs. Brady interjected critically, not quite liking all the attention to her girls “Are you fully qualified, boy?”
Koa gave his winningest smile and a little bow “Of course ma’am. Guest safety is our highest priority. I can bring up a bowling ball from fifty feet and am just one rating below expert in mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.” He again made his chest dance for the girls.
“Well that’s very fine.” Mr. Brady sounded very disapproving “If you don’t mind, please show our son that surfing spot.”
The Hawaiian was satisfied with this first contact. So he gave a small bow and answered “Of course sir. Follow me Greg.” He brushed a finger under each girl’s chin before leading the boys off at a jog. Knowing at least one sister would seek him out.
