Matthew bolted up from his bed, feeling a cold and empty. He would've thought having a dream like that would've caused more panic than it did, instead he felt nothing. In fact it took him a moment to realise he wasn't even breathing.

He shrugged it off and got out of bed feeling drained. Still he continued on, as if on auto pilot. He continued with his usual morning routine until...
