Tina thought being back home would've brought her some comfort but it was a tragic reminder of what she had lost. Her mother could barely look at her and her younger sister treated her like a pet. In fact she practically belonged to her now nineteen year old sister.
Whenever extended family came over was the worst. She had even caused her grandmother to have a heart attack when she saw her. As a result her aunt never wanted to see her. Her eighteen year old cousin also had an unusual fascination with her. So whenever extended family came to visit she'd be locked away.
There was also some uncertainty in the air as her younger sister was off to college soon, and Tina didn't know where that left her. Her sister wanted to take her but her mother shutdown that idea. Though Tina knew if she stayed she'd be locked up for good.
