This choice: Ok, let's do it, transport us back and put me on display • Go Back...Chapter #6Ok, let's do it, transport us and display me by: DougTF   Amy bites her lip, but realizes that process probably took a month "Ok, before I get to caught up in this, I wish you to transport us home, but back in time say five years, and display me at a museum for the amount of time it takes for us to go from five years to the day we left earth...that way we wont lose the year or so we've been here. Genie giggles "May I suggest a bit longer, we've been here four year mistress" Amy is floored, but agrees, "Yes, ten years then"
Genie gestures and they both dissolve, whereas Amy reforms on a marble plinth with spotlights aimed at her, though off now. And Genie is immaterial and invisible, though Amy can sort of see her. "Mistress, I made it so you had been discovered in a dig, and displayed at the British Museum of history, in a new premier exhibit. All you need to do is stay still for what to you may appear as 15 minutes or so...and I will be back in 8 years...enjoy" and she vanishes as you grow still. Your perceptions are alien and you don't really process things like humans do, so the passage of days, the thousands, then eventually millions of people who come and view you are imperceptible, moving far too fast for your alien physiology. Genie is back in what seems like less than a half hour, and you were just getting used to this, and she giggles "As lovely as I left you... how long has it been to you mistress?" Genie fiddles her form, turning her to unliving diamond and putting her mind back into a purely human and only mental state. "Wow, this was amazing...genie, thank you...but I thought you said years....hold on...that was 8 years? I hardly felt like a half hour at most!" Genie nods "Ok, so what would you like to do now mistress? I can replace you with a duplicate."  indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
