Amy thinks to Genie "I am really glad I found a way to give you some freedom, even though I can't really free you. I would love to give you a longer break, but I don't want to go missing from my life for too long...I have work tomorrow, plus my art. Maybe we can work something out, but you deserve that sort of freedom, even if it is only when I am thinking like some object"
Genie blinks, and looks down at her mistress the bikini "Amy, that is very nice of you, but I can't simply be turning my mistress into an object for my own needs or wants, that is improper!" Amy giggles "No, you would be turning me into an object for my wants, and one of my wants is to give my friend and magical servant a day or week off, a vacation if you will" Genie giggles as well "I mean, I am supposed to obey my mistress, so looks like I have to.... but thank you, sincerely mistress, I have never met a person like you. Let us see how to best address your concern about your life going unattended when you attempt to give me a vacation"
Amy considers "I mean, if it was just a day of work, I could call in a sub, get somebody to cover for me, but can;t do that for multiple days, plus cleaning and stuff around my apartment and studio" Genie considers "A sub, oh, you mean someone to take your place? Yes, that could work, would you like one?" Amy is confused "A sub for a day? I have to call others on staff..." Genie shakes her head, and smiles "No, a sub for your life, to take your place?" Amy mentally laughs "You have a spare Amy laying around somewhere?"
Genie bends down in the sand of this island, hand scooping into the damp material near the water's edge, while Amy is very confused. But Genie finds a small sand crab, one of those white crustaceans and she gently cleans it off, making some odd clicking sounds, which confuses Amy even more. But, Genie sets the crab down, and gestures, and suddenly, it grows and flows upward into a human shape, turning into...HER! The crab is Amy, well her body, an exact duplicate, while the real Amy is just a bikini! Amy is weirded out when the doppleganger smiles, and speaks with her voice "So, hello Amy... I understand you needed someone to cover your life while you gave Genie a vacation. I can do that if you like"
Amy gasps mentally "Genie, she's me, I mean, that crab is my copy!" Genie nods "Not fully, not yet...she does not have your knowledge and memory unless you so wish it. In exchange I told her I would make it so she lives many years, when crabs such as her usually only live one or two, and she would have many egg laying cycles, to reproduce" Amy is floored "you can... you can actually make her into me, to like know what I know, do what I do....to well, really be a sub for my life?" genie nods and Amy asks "Um, can she hear me, like for me to talk to her as well?" Genie nods once more.
"Ok, er, so, yeah, if you would be me for a while, I can give Genie here a real break, a taste of freedom, and well, you can be me...er, one request. Please don't use my dating app while you are me. I am ok with you working, hanging out with other guards after work, staying at my place, even using the studio...but I draw the line at dating guys when I am not me" She nods, smiling "I would like that, and don't worry, I am more into crabs than humans, so no, I won't swipe right on anyone while I am you Amy"
Amy thinks to Genie "So, do I make this a wish, like I wish crab Amy to have all the knowledge she needs to be me effectively, so no one besides us would know it wasn't really me?" Genie gestures, and the doubles eye flutter, and she smiles"Thank you Amy, you are a wonderful human, it is so nice to be you.... if it is ok, I would love to be back at your place, so I can explore the studio and paint some, before I have to work tomorrow" Amy chuckles "Yeah, sure, Genie, I wish her to be teleported back to my apartment and studio, to take my place for a while" And Genie gestures as the duplicate Amy waves and then vanishes.
Genie then turns "Now, are you sure about this mistress, having me make you think you are merely a bikini for a day or two?" Amy laughs "No... Genie, I want you to have a proper vacation...."
