Mark was eager to check if his powers were real or not, but his train of thought was interrupted by his grumbling stomach “Guess it’s time for breakfast…” he thought.

After a quick shower he went to the kitchen downstairs, there was no one there but he saw a plate with fresh toast on the table so he wasn't the only one awake. As he prepared breakfast for himself he could hear the sound of bare feet pattering against the floor. From the intensity of the steps, Mark realized who was approaching.
