It was once again very easy to find Pearl, the gem hanging up laundry on one of the hands of the massive statue the gems had built their home inside. Green Diamond arrived on the warp on the palm of the hand, an unaware Pearl less than 10 feet away.
In this situation, GD could easily try to sneak up behind Pearl and collar her like she had with Lapis, but Pearl's fighting instincts were far more sharpened than Lapis', and sneaking up closer would run the risk of being caught. And with GD's new body, it would be difficult to make Pearl think her motives were innocent.
She could instead try to surprise attack Pearl from a distance, she still had the element of surprise after all, and she was eager to see her new power at work, but that also ran the risk of losing and her revolution being stopped before it even began, although she had trouble imagining that a mere Pearl could beat her, especially in her current state.
