*Harrumph*.. I'll take it from here, Rozaic.
Oblivious to her mother's nature, little Anya's memory was of course, selective by nature. As to whom the choices were made by.. I'll leave that to your interpretation.. Here are some memories, not given to Anya, the clone.
"Mama, just killed a man"
"Put a gun against his head, pulled 'my' trigger, now he's dead" The Scarlet Witch had used her mind controlling powers to commit an egregious sin.. Murder.. with the help of her child's powers nonetheless, implicating, the innocent.
"Mama, life had just begun"
"But now I've gone and thrown it all away"
Should these memories be given to her, the sanctity of life would have been lost even before it had begun.
"Mama, ooh, didn't mean to make you cry"
Cries of sadness? Anguish? Disappointment? None of which the Scarlet Witch would have wanted to experience.. this could only be cries of joy or happiness.. even in the most heinous of acts committed to maintain the Multiverse.
"If I'm not back again this time tomorrow"
"Carry on, carry on as if nothing really matters."
The world, multiple times over, was sacrificed for her.. yet Anya oblivious to this fact, belittled the Witch's effort. Be it intentional or not, such is a memory best left unfought.
Are we really the sum of our memories? The sum of our experiences? Do they erode over time, causing an eventual death of the mind and our Reality?
We are the sum of those around us.
It seems that not all of us can move on, from this point.
Whose memory, would you be willing to defile, to continue living?
Do you even truly understand the choices you make? Everything comes at a cost.
Here is what to expect:
"Too late, my time has come."
"Sends shivers down my spine, body's aching all the time.
Goodbye, everybody, I've got to go.
Gotta leave you all behind and face the truth.
Mama, ooh (any way the wind blows).
I don't wanna die.
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all"
