Ash was leaving when his Pokedex started vibrating. Confused, he pulled it out and saw two eyes on the top.
"You have a call, would you like to answer?" The Pokedex asked him.
Ash was now really confused, "Um...yes?" He said, hesitantly.
He just stared at the Pokedex for a long second. "Ash? You there?"
Ash recognised the voice, but it took him a second to place it. "Wait, is that you Serena?"
The voice then laughed a little, "Yes Ash, it's me. Professor Oak was kind enough to send me your number."
Ok, now Ash was really confused. "Wait, what do you mean my number?"
Serena was quiet for a second, "Oh, that's right. Rotom Phones are still new to Kanto. I'll explain everything later. I just wanted to let you know I'm coming to visit."
Ash actually smiled at hearing that, it had been years since they last saw each other. "That's great, when will you get here?"
"About 8 hours, if the plane lands on time. Where should we meet?"
Ash remembered the inn at the edge out town, for if trainers wanted to rest before leaving. But at the same time, his journey had only just started. He could always wait at the Viridian City hotel.
He looked at Pikachu, hoping he'd give an answer, but Pikachu just stared back and twitched an ear.
